Now that I look at this drawing it amazes me.
It's like a little sketch in my cosmic strings language. There is something controlled and wild about it at the same time.

It has been incredibly hot now for two weeks.
Temperatures have been in the 90's and I have had the airconditioner running just to keep from being a sweaty mess.
That's what I thought about this drawing when I was ready to post it. Heat. But the drawing was made in the spring. Funny isn't it? Our experience changes with current conditions. Something that was created in early summer when the days were so sunny and so pleasant now reflect the scorching heat of summer.

I decided to use my syringe tool again. I've use it for gel type things and glues. But recently I have taken ti using it for transparent inks, acrylic inks, and liquid watercolors..

I love this little pen. I used it to make all the dots in the indigo soundings series.

So, it's not that interesting. Not as inspiring as many of the others. So what? I'm supposed to make a #drawingaday. I did. Some are better than others.

These are three of five drawings I have from available from my first Rare Earth Series. They are from work I did plein air in the Adirondack's. Mounted they easily fit in a 16 x 20" frame. The do need a float.

It was terrific making these drawings and I'm looking forward to making more this autumn.

Had some issues with the blog showing up on the iPad and iPhone. I changed the theme and now no problems. This is another scribblefest. I haven't gotten it out of my system yet.

A little madness. Pushing around the marks. Obliterating what came before. Wild and crazy.

Scribbling feels so good.

It's hard to do it without thinking. When you can scribble without thinking it is bliss. This is it.

A little more tire tread with some repetitive overlay. The crazy little white circles are my friends in this drawing. Playful with a bit of rhythm.
