600 drawings 4x4 2019, is the result of a drawing project — making at least one drawing each day. This project involved the use of four-inch squares of paper of various weights, colors, and surfaces. I found that many small pieces could be cut out of remnants of paper in my studio.

Year long projects help expand my vocabulary, they create new phrases and expletives. Join me to see the hundreds of drawings I made in this series. All the drawings will be for a sale unframed at an incredibly affordable price.

Our closing party is coming up.

Artists Stella Untalan and Robert McNellis present work that reveals and revels in overlapping. They were startled by the parallel nature of the work, resulting from completely different media and processes.

I'm really excited to share this exhibition that is currently at @HBHQ. Really thrilled to be showing my work with Margareta. Her work is brilliant. I hope you get a chance to see our little show.
In this exhibition Marguerita Hagan's single-cell beings of Le Mer dance with the depth measuring of Stella Untalan's Soundings drawings. In the depths Stella measures these creatures are lively and magical contributing to the circle of life on our planet.

It's going to be an exciting Philadelphia Open Studios Tour EAST weekend for me. In addition to having my studio open, I have been invited to show work with the fabulous Marguerita Hagan in her studio just north of Spring Garden Avenue.

I'm very excited to exhibit my 15-foot-long drawing, soundings : fifteen seven, and several smaller indigo blue field drawings. Marguerita's La Mer series of small sculpted organisms will dance with my soundings pieces.

365+1 #drawingaday is a digital drawing-a-day project.

I will be reexpressing this project in an open space @HBHQ. This is only the second time that I have shown all 366 drawings. Originally the drawings were installed in a smaller square gallery. This installation will span a number of walls in an open public space. It will be hung chronologically except for a two week grouping at the entrance to the show.

A pair of my walnut missives will be included in Arbitrary Relevance a group show in our building's new gallery Ground Floor. The inaugural exhibition will present a tidy pile of small works by artists who work in 1241 Carpenter.

Excited about the new opportunities in the new exhibition space. I've included the names of the other confirmed participants. I hope you'll join me for the reception or during the gallery hours listed below.
