Fat lines.

My #drawingaday show has really been a blast. First making 366 drawings (leap year) and then printing and hanging them was another adventure. The response to the work has been wonderful with many insightful comments. To my surprise many of the drawings have gone to new homes. Thank you everyone.

A crazy donut of shapes.

Sweet.

Going again to a place I enjoy. These combinations of thin repetitive pencil lines and washes.

Almost an unknown language. Not recognizable to me at first glance. But then something feels familiar..

Drawing new textures. Working with a couple pencil marks.
There is something that makes me feel good when I look at this. I feel like I’ve learned to draw something new.

Finally all the drawings are hung and the show is complete.

Testing out using an X. A familiar mark that has to be used wisely.

It actually works in this piece. Perhaps I should have added another layer.
