in the studio : july reorganizing

Switched around the studio. One of the things I've always done is made my studio flexible for reconfiguration to accomodate the kind of art I want to make. I have some ideas that will need as many flat surfaces as I can manage. I'm making room for new large drawings. This is an excellent configuration for the summer too. Making efficient use of the air conditioning.

It's starting to fall into place. I've moved my glass work table perpendicular to my flat file peninsula. A perfect place to work without distraction. I will face my shelves which will be covered by another drawing wall — sooner rather than later I hope. I'm enlisting my wall raising crew.

I've also made I perfect viewing sace where I can think about my work and or entertain studio guests to show them new work.
