It's very interesting what has happened now that my #drawingaday project is complete. I'm verbal again.
Strange yes. I couldn't find a way to really talk about the drawings or what else I was doing in the studio while the project was happening. Now, I'm back.

My #drawingaday show has really been a blast. First making 366 drawings (leap year) and then printing and hanging them was another adventure. The response to the work has been wonderful with many insightful comments. To my surprise many of the drawings have gone to new homes. Thank you everyone.

Sometimes when I draw there is nothing but the sound of my heart and the drawing medium on the surface. Other times in my head it sounds more like this.

I walked past this refreshment stand and onto the boardwalk to draw. The boardwalk is gone now. The dunes are gone now. This is what is left of the stand.
The Jersey shore I have known all my life is gone.
