I always keep some folded sheets with me — some in my bag, drawing kits, and of course studio. I can make a book anytime. I had this sheet of orange Canson in my bag for months. I kept taking it out and then putting it away. But yesterday I took it out again and decided I’d make some color layers and see what happens.
I decided to try using a new gold marker I purchased. I’m not really into metallics but every once in a while it seems that’s what a surface calls for so here we go.
I’m drawing across each spread in the book to see what rhythm reveals itself. i’ll add a photo for each spread.
