Framing the work while my head spins.

All right my head was spining.

I was keeping myself from a meltdown by calmly checking off options and laying out plans. Framing is always a major decision no matter how many times you've done it.

It's like getting your haircut. You have to have absolute trust that the person you hand your art to and fabricates the final presentation for your work shows the same kind of care you would. The matts have to be the right color. The floats just deep enough. The construction solid.

My artgirl MF dropped my off at the trusted Seven Arts Framing on Third Street in Old City yesterday and I worked out the solution with Joyce for six of my drawings to be framed and ready for my April show.

Sigh of relief.
