Some unfinished work. Finally at the end of April I got in the zone again. I guess I just needed spring in some way. These are pieces I hope will be ready for the show at Yellow Springs in June. The result of some previous experiments with gouache on synthetic paper. These really are working the way I had hoped. Its good to be working on this surface. The gouache allows me a ground for the pastel. However, I am concerned how to FIX the materials so they hold when finished.
The pieces are about innermost memories of standing in the midst of many trees. They are starting to feel like I feel.
