Scribbling feels so good.

It's hard to do it without thinking. When you can scribble without thinking it is bliss. This is it.

A little more tire tread with some repetitive overlay. The crazy little white circles are my friends in this drawing. Playful with a bit of rhythm.

Transparency.
I absolutely love how marks change when they overlap each other. Looking at this now and I'm thinking how to use some of the same marks again. The tire track type mark just asks to be used again. Hoping that printing will keep the same feeling.

A circle and a couple dots.

Lot's of dots. Speedy little dots blowing in the wind.

Surprise. Surprise.

Stepping backing into less.

A quiet drawing for a quiet and restful day. The first time I look at these off the iPhone is amazing. It's a trip to see what happens when they are like when freed from the confines of te phone screen. So looking forward to printing them out.

This was as big a surprise as the last drawing.

Surprised myself.

Trying new marks. More scribbling. I love drawing loops and unruly circles.

I like what happened here.

Wandering around in experimentation. A few new forms for the marks too.  I love to scribble.

Making the little dots inspired me. I actually started with the little and then created the larger more transparent ones. I made a decision along the way that the build up in density would be most of the color change.

It is restful — like paddling through a pond of water lilies.

Just working on layers and repetition. These are made by tapping. each dot is a tap and I adjust color and transparency. These do not vary in size for many reasons, not the least which is it's faster.

I like it.

Testing a bit of transparency here. I was hoping for a bit more purple. Oh well. Drawing a few box shapes. I've always loved creating a false edge. Allowing some of the craziness to spill out.

Testing the waters.
